About Me
My Background
Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Jack Cook and I am a senior at CU Boulder. I will be graduating in May 2026 with a BS in Finance and Real Estate. I originally grew up in the foothills of Colorado, with my parents, Craig and Wendy, my older brother Jaden, and my two dogs, Luna and Tucker. Since I was young, my dad worked as a realtor and my parents owned and operated a small portfolio of properties. Their success, coupled with their entrepreneurial spirit of being self employed piqued my interest in the Real Estate industry, and has led me to pursue an education in Real Estate at CU Boulder.
Who I am
I am someone who walks around with a smile on my face and shows up with a positive attitude every day. Whether it is my friends and family, or strangers, I find myself curious to learn about who they are and be someone in their lives that is consistent, every day. I really care a lot about the wellbeing of people and always try to be a light in their lives. I look at problems, and see them as opportunities to learn and to grow, finding the good in the bad. I strive everyday to become a better version of myself in all aspects of my life. Life will always throw curve balls and have ups and downs, so it is important to enjoy all of it, because isn't that really the whole point?
My Hobbies
To put it simply, I love the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Whether it is going for a run, snowboarding, hiking, climbing, or going to a concert and trying a new place to eat, staying active is what brings me joy. I have run 3 marathons and 1 ultramarathon in Aspen within the past 2 years, which have all been very rewarding experiences. I have had the privilege of traveling with my family and my friends in and outside of the country which has been incredibly fun. Turkey and Moab, Utah have been my most memorable trips. I never get sick of taking a weekend trip home to see my parents and spend time with my dogs: Luna, a Newfoundland Poodle, and Tucker, a Golden Retriever.
